SVOLGIMENTO DEL COMPITO/TASK

La vostra scuola è stata scelta per partecipare al concorso che mette in palio un viaggio in Italia di un mese. Un solo studente potrà usufruire di 10.000 € da spendere per viaggiare in Italia e avrà la libertà di scegliere come programmare il suo viaggio; potrà scegliere quando partire, senza ripercussioni sulla sua carriera scolastica. Per partecipare, dovrete creare una presentazione powerpoint di voi stessi./Your school has been chosen to participate in an exchange project offered by an Italian Association. An official contest has been announced; the amount: €10,000 , that can be spent on travel to Italy. The winner will be able to plan his/her journey the way he/she prefers; he/she will be able to leave whenever he/she wishes, his/her scholastic career will not be affected. To win, you must create a powerpoint presentation of yourself.

Seguite le seguenti istruzioni:/Follow the following instructions:

1. Dovrete parlare di voi stessi, descrivendo la vostra famiglia, i vostri hobby, cosa vi piace e cosa non vi piace./You have to describe yourself, your family, your hobbies, what you like and what you dislike.
2. Scegliete le informazioni da utilizzare dalle risposte alle domande./Select the information from the answers you’ve written to the questions.
3. Dovete usare frasi complete./You must use full sentences.
4. Create una slide di apertura dove inserirete un titolo./Design an opening title slide.
5. Create anche una slide in cui riassumerete brevemente gli argomenti di cui parlerete./Create a slide where you will outline and introduce the topics you’re going to talk about and in what order.
6. Descrivete bene voi stessi: come vi chiamate, quanti anni avete, la vostra nazionalità, il vostro aspetto fisico, il vostro carattere./Describe yourself well by stating your name, your age, your nationality, what you look like and write something about your personality.
7. Proseguite parlando della vostra città: nome, dove si trova, per cosa è famosa./Then continue by describing your town, include its name, where it is located and what it is famous for.
8. Descrivete bene la vostra famiglia: da quante persone è composta, chi sono, come si chiamano, quanti anni hanno, che lavoro fanno, cosa studiano./Give a full description of your family: how many people are there? Who are they? What’s their name? How old are they? What’s their job? What are they studying?
9. Descrivete cosa vi piace fare nel tempo libero e con chi: sport, passatempi, altre attività./Describe how you like to spend your spare time and with whom: sports, hobbies and any other activities.
10. Scegliete uno degli argomenti del punto 9 e approfonditelo. Per esempio, potete parlare di uno sport che vi piace, della musica che ascoltate e degli artisti che vi piacciono. Per aiutarvi, leggete attentamente le domande e le risposte che avete dato./Choose one of the topics you have included in n. 9 and add more information; i. e.: you can talk about a sport you really like or about the music and the artists you like to listen to. You will find the information you need in the answers to the questions.
11. Parlate di cosa vi piace dell’Italia, perché studiate l’italiano e perché vi piacerebbe andare in Italia, i posti che vi piacerebbe visitare./You must state what you like about Italy, why you are studying Italian and why you would like to go to Italy. Name the places you would like to visit.
12. Ricordate che non c’è limite alle informazioni che potete includere./Remember that there is no limit to the information you can include in your presentation.
13. Usate foto per arricchire la vostra presentazione./Make sure you include photos in your slides.
14. Organizzate bene testo e immagini; l’impatto visivo è molto importante e condizionerà l’attenzione del vostro pubblico./The visual appeal of the task is crucial as nobody will want to read your information if it’s not eye catching.
15. La presentazione deve contenere almeno 30 slides./You must include at least 30 slides in your presentation.
16. Mostrerete la presentazione davanti alla classe./You are going to present this powerpoint to your classmates.
